Carpenter's Mark
My second full length novel, Carpenter's Mark represents an accomplishment after over ten years of perseverance. Falling somewhere between fantasy, literay fiction, and social commentary, it tells the tale of Estus Arrenklye (after whom this website is named). Estus is born in a small farming town, and aspires to know the world. After his small world is shaken, he runs off into the wilderness of forbidden truths and discovers both magic and the darkness that consumes it.
Broken Mirror
Broken Mirror is a collection of 10 short stories ranging from head-in-a-box science fiction, to the heart-warming drama of a young adopted girl. These stories examine the social and technological trends from a world just around the corner from ours.
God Is Love
The essays in God Is Love portray my personal journey out of faith, and back into a deeper understanding of religion and the answer to the critical question: If there is no god, why does everyone think that there is?
Nyssa
Now available for the first time as an eBook, my first novel Nyssa was the inspiration for Carpenter's Mark, which originally was intened as a prequel until it diverted into its own separate history and storyline. Here we also see Estus Arrenkyle through the eyes of his adopted daughter Nyssa, as he continues the struggle between dominance and freedom of mankind in the face of world shaking secrets.
