Week Twelve

I've mentioned more than once that I took a scrapbook design class from Big Picture Scrapbooking called Design Your Life. Wow, what a great experience that was. I just learned so much. How to use sketches, how to incorporate elements of design to create well-balanced pages, how to scan, edit, and upload to online galleries.

And so much more.

Here is one of the last assignments from the class. I got it done today, only one week late!

I love it. I totally love it. Such simplicity, but the perfect layout for saying what I wanted to say with a picture and a few words that, I'll admit, made me well up a bit when I typed them.

Dude, I totally love scrapbooking. I'm going to miss Design Your Life. Cathy Zielske is just awesome, and I know that what I learned will carry forward in every page and project I do.
