My husband and I are on the couch, channel flipping, warming up after about a half hour shoveling about a half inch of snow off our driveway and sidewalk. My legs were numb when I came in, and I don't recall that happening since the Winters I spent in Minnesota.
According to the Weather Channel, our base temperature here is 2 degrees.
Winter is definitely here.
Planning to get our tree up this evening. Maybe wrap a few presents, begin celebrating the beautiful season of Light and Joy.
It's good to be safe and warm and indoors as I wish everyone a happy Winter Solstice.
