Lately, I've been focusing on 2007 pictures, getting them onto scrapbook pages. My motivation has been good, has paid off. October is done. Book 2 of 2007 is just about full. Not sure what I'm going to do about that as I've got two more months of photos to do before the year is complete.
Here is the last October page which I completed today:
And here is a two-page layout of Daniel and me on our anniversary trip to Saugatuck:
I've already done two different mini-albums of our anniversary trip, but I still had pictures left, and this layout came together so beautifully. I love how the embellishments hint at wedding/marriage, while still maintaining the style and subject matter of the page. I love the photos, too. So evocative.
Shopping Goodness
Nothing like a bargain, am I right? At Target yesterday, when Daniel and I went to shop for a few groceries, I discovered a trove of scrapping supplies, all $1.00 each. Take a look:
I love the mini books, so much I can do with those, and I'm already drooling over the possibilities. The papers are gorgeous, too. Also can't wait to see how they work into my Autumn designs. Never can have too many great supplies to choose from, especially this inexpensive.
More Good News
In addition to my progress and bargain discoveries, I'm also delighted that the next few days are going to be much more like Autumn than Summer. If we're lucky, the heat will be gone for another year, and my favorite season can begin its colorful parade of delicious days.
