Just now, when I was filling my coffee carafe from the tap to make another small pot of coffee, I thought about water.
Every day, clean water is available to me. I turn on a faucet, and there it is. Clean, clear, smelling...well, like water. I don't have to boil it. I don't have to put anything into it. I don't have to strain it. I can fill a glass, drink, not have to worry about parasites or other contaminants.
I know there are other places where people have to work a lot harder for water to safely drink. I know there are places people don't have clean water, no matter how hard they work.
It's easy to take clean water for granted. Today, I'm thankful that I have clean water to drink whenever I want or need it.
Is there anything you take for granted?
