Yesterday, I got down to it.
I haven't finished reading Stacy Julian's book Photo Freedom yet, but it has already inspired me to get real about photo organization. I put aside getting ready for a garage sale, ignored the boxes stacked in my sunroom, and spread out my photo albums, loose photos, and a storage box for what I'm calling "archived" photos on the big table.
I spent hours separating, grouping, putting pictures into albums, labeling those, extracting other pictures for storage, checking iPhoto for dates on some photos.
Lengthy project, and of course it's not complete yet, but I made a huge dent.
And it feels good.
