Sitting in the sun room in my house that's currently under construction--and there's plenty of loud banging and power saw growling to prove it--I am thinking about our recent trip to Oregon and wanting to share some of the 281 (not kidding) photos we took while there for four blissful days.
Our first sightseeing stop, Smith Rock State Park with its high desert landscape and breathtaking views:


Surprising to see animals grazing in the Crooked River Ranch resort, including this handsome devil:

Not exactly what I'd call "falls" at the Cline Falls State Park, but a lovely spot just the same:

And speaking of lovely spots, here is my husband by Lake Billy Chinook at the Palisades Cove State Park:

We drove around a sharp bend in the winding road to discover this magnificent surprise:

For me, this is the best sight of all. Us together at the wedding that was the reason for our journey:

Our second visit to the beautiful state of Oregon, Daniel and I were as captivated as we were on our first visit. Perhaps, we will someday call Oregon home.
