I'm participating in a challenge for the month of February called Layout A Day, which is being conducted by the delightful Lain Ehmann, author of the adorable book Snippets, which I just got in my hot little hands last Friday.
The challenge is simple: create a scrapbook layout every day for the month of February. That means that at the end of the month, I will have completed 28 scrapbook pages.
I know, right?
Another cool thing is that Lain's emailing us every day with inspiration and ideas to make the project more fun and give it a little bit of structure. She sends a suggestion for that day's page, which we can use to jump start our creativity, or not.
Today, she suggested a page about what makes me happy, and I incorporated that into the layout for the 2009 scrapbook.

Really looking forward challenging myself creatively on a daily basis this month, plus getting some scrapbooking done.
Oh, and happy February, everyone. That's one month of 2009 behind us already.
