We are home.
A long week of long days is over, and I am so happy.
I am happy to be home. I am happy to have seen my sweet, little mommy. I am happy that Daniel and I continue to forge ahead through whatever happens, turning to each other, learning and growing together. I am happy that our car didn't break down after giving us a little bit of trouble on our way from Dallas to Tyler. I am happy that I got to spend time with Olivia and Melinda and my little brother Daniel. I am happy that I got to spend time with DJ and Lyndsey. I am happy that I accomplished a lot and set in motion plans that will accomplish even more.
And grateful. So very grateful for safety, for grace, for strength, for good conversation, for this big, beautiful country. For so many more things I'm a bit too tired to record here right now.
Travel is fun and rewarding, but I love coming home.
