Looks like I've been on a bit of a hiatus from my blog. Not totally intentional. Days are as long as always, the full 24 hours like everyone else gets, but somehow, those hours have not been enough to go around for about a week, at least. I intended to get so much done on Monday and felt like I was spinning my tires all day long, really accomplishing very little.
That has been my whole week's lament. I was telling this to Daniel on the way home, and I started to really think about what's been accomplished this week. The ever-present laundry was completed except for folding one load of towels on Monday. On Tuesday, I bought most of my Autumn/Winter wardrobe, except shoes. Not a small task, and I was so thrilled by my success at finding so many great pieces.
Yesterday, I got the frij cleaned out, which has been on my to-do list for, I'm not kidding, weeks, now. So glad to finally be able to cross that off my list...at least for now. I got other things done, here, too mundane to list.
And today, there was grocery shopping. Getting food in the house? Very important.
I've also been participating in a project Ali Edwards is doing with her blog readers, A Week in the Life. It involves documenting through words and photos the daily life and experiences of one entire week. Really liking the process, and today I bought some of the supplies for the album.
Maybe my week's list of accomplishments isn't grand, but it's good enough, and I've still got two days left.
