Daily Slice of Life

I did this a couple weeks ago and really enjoy it. I'm thinking of doing a mini scrapbook of several days of this Slice of Daily Life, but I haven't come up with a design concept yet. Need to think about that during the next week or so.

In the meantime, today's Slice of Daily Life:

Outside my window...bright sunshine and a wisp of Summer breeze.

I am thinking...about my long, long to-do list getting ready for DJ’s visit.

I am thankful for...sleep, even the small amounts I've been getting the past few days.

From the kitchen...probably chili mac for dinner.

I am wearing...my favorite cropped pants and my pink Spring Break tee I got in Cali in 2007.

I am creating...space to enjoy Saturday.

I am going...to clean the house like a banshee for the next several hours.

I am reading...Encyclopedia of An Ordinary Life.

I am hoping...that the insomnia I’ve experienced the last few days is just a fluke and will go away very soon.

I am hearing...the motor of a truck passing outside the front of my house and the hum of the frij.

Around the house...clutter, chaos, piles of stuff needing to be attended to. What else is new?

One of my favorite things...free time, which is in woefully short supply lately.
