Tonight, as I was surfing one of my favorite websites, I came across a post on the message boards that announced the passing of George Carlin.
He died on Sunday, and it makes me sad. His comedy did not just make us laugh, but also made us think. There was one bit he did about worshipping the Sun because he could actually see the Sun.
Jon Stewart mentioned the loss of Carlin on tonight's episode of The Daily Show. He said something about being weary of losing folks we still need.
I feel the same way. George Carlin will be missed.
