What makes today so special? Well...someone I love very, very much turns six today. Six! Seems like yesterday she was sleeping on my shoulder, learning to crawl, taking her first steps, saying my name for the first time.
Time does fly, doesn't it?
Being so far away, way up here in Michigan--which, in Olivia's own words, "looks like a mitten, but it isn't!--makes it hard on me, on my whole family. It has to be this way, and I've become adept at the magic of sending kisses and hugs across the miles to the people I love.
Like my sweet Livvie. Happy Birthday to my favorite six-year-old! You are an awesome person already, and I'm so proud of you and delighted that I get to be your aunt.
